En el ensayo se reconstruye la historia del proyecto que quer\u00eda transformar el valle de N\u00faria en un santuario moderno, donde el <em>cremallera<\/em> y el hotel de monta\u00f1a convivir\u00edan con la devoci\u00f3n y el mito.<\/p><p>La compa\u00f1\u00eda Ferrocarriles de Monta\u00f1a en Grandes Pendientes (FMGP) so\u00f1\u00f3 con unir el fervor religioso con la ingenier\u00eda y el turismo, y convertir la monta\u00f1a en espacio de experiencia espiritual y negocio rentable a la vez.<\/p><p>Con una mirada que combina la historia cultural, la patrimonial y la del turismo, el autor revela c\u00f3mo la monta\u00f1a catalana se convirti\u00f3 en escenario de una fascinante tensi\u00f3n entre moral y mercado, naturaleza y tecnolog\u00eda, fe y modernidad.
